The Bath and NES Liberal Democrat administration has passed a listening budget that will invest in the future of our area and protect our most vulnerable. Key highlights are:
– £2 million extra for road surfaces
– Keeping all the children centres open
– £1 million extra for renewing play areas
– £89 million for regeneration projects
– No cuts to day to day services: street cleaners, weekly bin collections
– subsidised bus routes
It’s vital that the Council invests in projects which will help to strengthen and grow the local economy. The Liberal Democrat budget proposals will mean investment in regeneration and will prioritise community improvements.” The Council’s budget proposals have been published here:
